Use
What is the Ouriginal anti-plagiarism system?
Teach students how to use a wide variety of digital sources (websites, digital databases, etc.) while making use of the art of digital citation. Ouriginal helps you identify digital documents that have been used but not properly cited.
As a reminder, Sciences Po's internal regulations state that any breach of the basic rules of integrity and honesty constitutes a failure to comply with academic obligations.
How does the Ouriginal anti-plagiarism system work?
- The student sends their document by email to the teacher's ‘Ouriginal’ address. This address is of the type prenom.nom.scpo@analyse.urkund.com. It is pre-configured in your Google Apps contacts, in a folder dedicated to anti-plagiarism.
- The document is stored and analysed on the Ouriginal server. This analysis consists of comparing the document with the Internet, other students' documents and published content (books, encyclopaedias, etc.).
- The document and its report are sent to the teacher at their email address: prenom.nom@sciencespo.fr.
