Cold War-era books and other reading materials, Kerala, India (1950-1980)

My thesis addresses the translated literature that was circulated by th Cold War actors in the context of postcolonial nation-building. I am interested in the circumstances and personalities involved in such ventures that have been variously described as cultural diplomacy and soft power. I was a print media journalist with a career spanning over 15 years, the longest stint being with The Hindu, one of India's most reputed English-language newspapers.
