ERIS JOURNAL BRILLAccess the journal's latest issue here!

The European Review of International Studies (ERIS) has its raison d’être in the promotion of international studies in Europe and in the circulation of research in languages other than English in the Anglophone world. A substantial section reviews, in English, works published in the different European languages. Books for review should be sent to ERIS c/o CERI, 56 rue Jacob 75006 Paris, France eris.ceri@sciencespo.fr Original articles may be submitted, including in languages other than English, to eris@canterbury.ac.uk
Articles will be double-blind reviewed in the original language wherever possible. After provisional acceptance in the original language, the author must arrange for translation into English and a final decision will be taken on this English language version. ERIS cannot pay for translation costs into English, that remain at the author’s expense. ERIS welcomes survey articles focusing on developments in the field from different language areas or sub-disciplines.
Call for Special issues 2024-2025: The Editors of the European Review of International Studies (3 issues a year published by Brill) invite submissions either from individuals or from teams of scholars for the publication of a special issue of the journal in 2024 or 2025 We are open to all imaginative proposals but particularly welcome those from younger European scholars in line with ERIS’s mission to support international studies in Europe. Although any subject area within International Relations is eligible, we wish to encourage work on aspects of the following themes: war and European order; foreign policy and domestic politics; history and memory; Europeans’ various encounters with their imperial past; the international politics of migration and diaspora. A short proposal can be sent to the editors by email. It must contain four elements: (1) a general presentation of the topic; (2) a provisional list of contributions and contributors; (3) data on the timeframe; (4) CVs of the guest editor(s).   Proposals should be sent to: Christopher Hill, University of Cambridge (cjh68@cam.ac.uk) and Christian Lequesne, Sciences Po (christian.lequesne@sciencespo.fr)

The journal is published by Brill.
